Volunteer award committee members provide essential support to the WAWH. Awards committee members typically serve three-year terms. In their third and last year, the committee member serves as chairperson and is a member of the Executive Board.

Executive Board members are not eligible to apply for awards during their year as head of the committee. Non-Board committee members are eligible to apply for awards and prizes in areas in which they do not serve.
